Reyes Holdings BU Senior HRIS Analyst / Liaison - RCCB in Irvine, California
The Senior Analyst facilitates and supports key processes and accountabilities within Human Resources and Payroll for the respective Business Unit. Duties involve independent judgment and discretion on issues that may be sensitive or confidential in nature. This position will also lead acquisition integrations and project teams.
Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Work closely with Human Resources (HR) and HRIS to align people data to established data standards, policy and processes for the collection, aggregation, maintenance and distribution of the data across the Business Unit (BU).
Provide tier-one support for the BU relative to HR systems, to include researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; reviewing and correcting system audits; and performing user security set-up.
Ensure security of HR and Payroll information through established security protocols.
Prepare reports for employee data contained in the HR systems.
Develop training and documentation of BU-specific system use for HR, Payroll and other end users.
Analyze HR and Payroll processes applicable to the BU and make recommendations for improvements via the use of technology.
Define specifications, development and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports, and procedures for HR systems users to ensure efficient business processes, either in collaboration with HR, HRIS, Payroll and/or IT or independently, depending on the scope of the process.
Resolve HR systems issues and act as “troubleshooter” for and with HR, Payroll, HRIS and IT departments.
Serve as BU project lead on HR systems projects, including acquisitions.
Correct and maintain accruals in Kronos.
Depending on the BU, may load data into the finance system of record (e.g., SAP for GLCC).
Play an active role in HR system upgrades and training at BU locations. Communicate systems updates and stay informed of initiatives and policy/process changes.
Support local HR Managers and/or direct them to the proper person.
Maintain knowledge of current trends and strategies in technology fields relating to HR systems.
Other duties as assigned or as judgment or necessity dictate.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT, Human Resources, Business or equivalent on-the-job experience.
4+ years in HR systems support, with good understand of HR and Payroll processes and terminology.
3+ years in any combination of report writing, querying, data analysis, HRIS, and/or training.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills with ability to present findings and translate data into an understandable document; must be able to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas.
Demonstrated ability to work well and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
Strong customer-service orientation, sense of urgency in getting things done, and ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects.
Ability to handle confidential material and details.
Highly focused attention to detail; vigilant in data analysis to arrive at correct conclusions
Strong critical thinking with the ability to review numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings
Ability to multi-task and flex to adapt to the environment.
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
