Sales and Marketing Representative
In support of Arrow’s joint venture with Marubun, Japan’s largest independent semiconductor distributor, Marubun/Arrow is a provider of electronic components, technical solutions and supply chain management services. As a Sales & Marketing Representative you will be responsible for managing overall account relationship by providing strategic service and support to assigned customer base, consisting of large, complex accounts/engagements. This position will maximize margins, gain market share, and drive value added solution selling through an expert knowledge of the business, products, and market.
You will be involved with:
Driving sales strategies with thorough knowledge and accountability of supply chain engagements and proactively identifying and acting upon opportunities.
Building and maintaining influential high level customer and supplier strategic relationships
Setting and driving account margin strategy
Servicing the customer
Customer Quote to Order and closure on business
Territory and account planning
Customers’ internal informational system updates
Quality Issue Liaison
Some vendor systems quoting
Coordinating with material planners
Coordinating pricing with purchasing and product manager
Assisting in resolving any pricing issues between accounts receivable and customer
Successful candidates must have:
Minimum 1-2 years sales experience with electronics sales preferred
The ability to build influential relationships
Strong communication, negotiating, presentation and organizational skills
Customer service orientation
The ability to work collaboratively with internal and external resources to generate results
Highly proficient in PC Skills (MS Outlook, Excel and Word)
College degree, preferred
Arrow system experience, preferred
Customer Facing/Supplier Facing
